Consonant Blend Picture Files - From Level Four

Each file contains a set of pictures for the consonant blend patterns taught at level four.  The same consonant blend pictures are included in the set of level four pictures, since they are taught in Book 1 at that level.  These are the simple line drawings that appear in the Sound City Reading phonics books and workbooks.  They are black line images on a white background.  I have converted all of the pictures to the PNG format.  This will allow the images to be used more easily in digital applications.  The pictures are copyrighted by Kathryn J. Davis.  Teachers, tutors, and parents have permission to download the pictures and use them to create bulletin boards, flashcards, games, presentations, and other instructional materials for their own students, as needed.  ​The pictures may be shared through links to this site.  The pictures may not be used to make materials to sell commercially.  
How To See The Pictures:  The picture files are available from the links shown in green below.  Each link will download a zip file to your computer that contains multiple images.  You won't be able to see the images on your computer until the file is unzipped.  To unzip the file, double click on it.  Click Extract all. Select the location where you want to store the file, make sure the Show extracted files when complete box is checked, then click Extract.  Now you will be able to open the file and see and use the pictures.

My goal is for as many people as possible to use this reading program to teach students how to read.  All of the materials you need are available on this site as free PDF files.  The materials are copyrighted, but I give permission to all teachers, parents, tutors, and school systems to download and print any of the PDF files for use with the students they teach.    However, they are not to make a profit from distributing the materials.  If you don't have a printer, using a print shop is allowed.  If preferred, you may work with the PDF files directly from a computer screen, without printing them.  This makes it possible for tutors to teach the program online.  Audio and video files are free to watch and to listen to, and they may be downloaded if desired for use with your  students.  In special cases I may grant written permission to individuals to use the materials in other ways.  You can contact me at [email protected].
