Share Your Experience - If you have used any of the Sound City Reading materials with students, please consider filling in a survey to share your experience with others who visit this website.

I have received many e-mails over the years from individuals who have used Sound City Reading materials with success.  If you have used any of the materials would you be willing to fill in a survey?

These are the questions.  They are repeated below so that you can see them when you fill in the form.

  • What type of position you hold (grade level teacher, special ed teacher, ESL teacher, home school parent, etc.)
  • What type of students you have worked with
  • Which materials you have used
  • How you liked using the materials
  • How the students liked using the materials
  • What kind of progress students showed

I believe this would be very beneficial for those who are looking for teaching materials and aren't sure how well this program would work for their students.  Please note that I plan to share the entries in this survey exactly as they are written on a different page, so that others can see the information.  I will receive your entry by e-mail and copy and paste it onto a designated page on this site.  By filling in this survey, you will be giving me permission to share your entry with all of the visitors to this site.  All entries will be greatly appreciated.  You do not have to leave a name, but you may do so if you wish and don't mind that it is shared.  Note:  The entry box is as large as I am able to make it.  I apologize for the annoyance.  You can type in as much as you want, but you will only be able to see the small section that you are currently typing.  If you prefer, you can avoid the inconvenience and type your information directly into an e-mail and send it to me at [email protected].  E-mailed entries will also be posted to this website as described above.

Please Tell How The Sound City Materials Have Worked For Your And Your Students

Please answer as many questions as possible about your experience with Sound City Reading Materials. See the questions on the right side of this box or below it. The box to enter your information is small but you can type in as much as you want, and I will be able to read it easily.

All Materials Copyright 2025 or earlier by Kathryn J. Davis, All Rights Reserved
My goal is for as many people as possible to use this reading program to teach students how to read.  All of the materials you need are available on this site as free PDF files.  The materials are copyrighted, but I give permission to all teachers, parents, tutors, and school systems to download and print any of the PDF files for use with the students they teach.    However, they are not to make a profit from distributing the materials.  If you don't have a printer, using a print shop is allowed.  If preferred, you may work with the PDF files directly from a computer screen, without printing them.  This makes it possible for tutors to teach the program online.  Audio and video files are free to watch and to listen to, and they may be downloaded if desired for use with your  students.  In special cases I may grant written permission to individuals to use the materials in other ways.  You can contact me at [email protected].
